City Market Depot & Granary Supply

I am unclear as to how the City Market Depot supplies goods - I understand that it supplies the City Market but will it also supply other producers in the city as well? For instance I have a Tavern producing Berry Wine - will the City Market Depot also supply the Tavern with berries or do I need a Granary in the area to do so? Basically - does the City Market Depot exclusively supply the City Market or will it supply other buildings as well?
