How to get tools with trading ?

I just unlocked the first trade route and used it to ask for tools but nothing is coming

Enable them for purchase with the green down arrow and set a number of how many to maintain in your stock.

EDIT: And ensure you have a space in a Warehouse dedicated for Tools. Only goods assigned space in a Granary or Warehouse can be bought/sold.

Already set up place in a warehouse for it but traders come in my city w/o leaving them, i think i should have keep the one i got at the beginning to finish what i had in mind bcs now i have no money to buy them and i can only sell wood

The trader is just stuck and dont come to my town. I have money, green arrow for tool, space in my warehouse (and tool assign). I can see the trader at the edge of the map but he isnt moving. The one from Davenport is coming without problem. Can you help me?

Oh.

I haven't experienced that, but I've read plenty of others here reporting Merchants stuck with zero resolution or workaround. If their reports are any indication here, you're f*cked. :'(
