All of the buildings have to be part of the same complex. When you click to edit the Manor House, do all three sub-buildings appear in the same list off to the left under "Manor House"? If not, you've created them as different, separate complexes.
While editing the Great Hall complex, click the + symbol to "Create a sub-building" within it. Only sub-buildings within the same complex can internally connect.
Do I need to destroy my existing Bailiff office? And if so, what happens to the Bailiff and all his mandates?
confusing and a little frustrating.
Unfortunately the new Bailiff office will require another selecting from 3 villagers.
But yes, if you want the Bailif office and Tax offive, manor and treasury to all be part of one 'mega structure' then they all need to be added via the 'edit building' of the first sub-type you built.
Yes. The "other" structure has to be demoed before a "new" one can be built within the same complex (and attached to) the Great Hall.
This game gives a LOT of freedom in how you build to the point where it can easily get you into trouble before you know it.
The current Bailiff office could be switched to a Treasury or Watchpost if you want to keep the building around though :)
