Enclosed cloister area
I don't understand how I must get 50-1000 cloister size? I have a big monastery and wherever I place the required builds, the 2 cloister halls and the garden entrance it never gets above 0 in size? I have connected it to my monastery and also tried adding a new structure and attach the hall to it. Even tried with just the hall. What should I do here?

If you build it stand-alone, it will need to have no open spaces along the border. The easiest construction here would be a complete square.

If you connect it to your monastery, you can forego at least one side, but there can still be no open spaces along the border. If you have a straight-line monastery, you can use that as one of the walls, and then build a completely blocked off space.

Once you have completed an enclosed space design (before trying to finalize the build), you will get the number to go over zero . . . not before.

It needs to be closed and have toom to get in.
It has straight and corner parts, you are supposed to build a square/rectangle with them

Yes, I’ve been having the same problem. Two hours. Did it one way with it all enclosed on the inside, then did it all enclosed on the outside tried working with the entrances. Nothing let alone I can’t upgrade my priest and nuns To work

I had a problem with the cloister area being too small because there were too many berry planters in it. I also spent a lot of time trying to figure out why it says it is not closed when it is closed.
so? any news? i have the same problem :D

actually it seems that is does not count as enclosed area if you make it too big.
On testing the maximum enclosed area was 9x9, 10x10 failed to be recognized.

I'm having the problem that even if I make a stand alone cloister it says that is is not enclosed. Does is not count if it is too small? I'm trying to make a 3x3 cloister

Yes 3x3 is too small and should be highlighted with a red internal area line in game, make it bigger and it should turn blue
