Manor House
I haven't played the game in about a year. I am at the point of placing a manor house and I can't seem to do it correctly . I need steps to install the grand hall and tax office. This game has changed (big time) since it went to full release.

So, you start by selecting the manor from the monument section of the build menu

Next, you select the grand hall, and place the parts.

Next, you click the little '+' in the bottom left to add a sub-building, and chose the tax office. Add parts. Repeat to add the bailiff, treasury, and watchpost as desired. If you want to edit a sub building, click on it in the list on the left of the build menu to select that sub building and add or change parts. Every sub building needs access, but they can all share one single door if they are all contiguously connected so that all the interior space of the room parts turns green

Thanks for the detailed manor house placement order.
Also, don't forget it does not have to be one gargantuan building containing everything. 'You can have one manor house that is just the great hall and then another manor house (or several) somewhere else in your village that is just the tax office or bailiff office. I made that mistake first time I played, thinking the manor house was supposed to be some sort of central singular hub where all the village bureaucracy business was conducted that you just kept adding rooms to.

Thanks Captain Carrot for the added information about manor houses. I also thought the one manor house was central for all business.
