How to get tools?

My second play through and I've encountered the same issue.
I followed the tutorial and opened the trade route - planks for tools.
I have two warehouses with slots ready to accept tools.
I have clicked the buy tools in trade but none are coming.

Can't make my own tools without tools!

Any help please?

I posted a screenshot on discord, but just loaded your file, put it on 3x and after 10-20 seconds the trader came and deposited 15 planks to your warehouse normally :/

This issue is also happening with me, I've unlocked the trade route with Northbury for tools, I have enough coins but no trader has appeared for ages. I've tried adding a warehouse and upgrading it but still nothing and its really annoying and hindering me from building anything else and I don't know what I'm doing wrong - ironically enough this happened on two separate saves on two separate worlds so I really don't know what's going on or if I'm missing something?

First of all try a reload just in case.

Then have you actually clicked the buy arrow button in the resources screen and set a number value next to it?

If yes please post a couple of screenshots or the save file (see instructions 3 posts above) and I am happy to look into it for you.

Tried reloading the save to check and still nothing has happened.

I unclicked and clicked the buy arrow button and set the value to 100 just to be sure and still nothing.

1. Need to unlock store from progressive tab.
2. Build material store (Warehouse not Granary).
3. Check trade route on royal tab and try to unlocked it.
4. Click on some resources tab on top screen checked arrow up for buy (add max qtt you want) and arrow down for sell (add qtt max you want keep in store)
5. Have fun Do not forget set tool storage in warehouse.

Yeah sorry no clue why the trader is not coming in this case, I will pass the save file to the devs for further investigation.
