Also the granary is logistics, meaning you should place it close to production so it can quickly empty their storage, while the market should be placed close to houses so it can provide food to villagers.
The market stalls provide food and goods for residents and visitors.
Granaries are where food is stored. The market employees go to the granaries to get the food to sell at the market stalls.
Anyways with the market place storing the food that means the storage capacity for the counters no longer apply since it is a short trip to restock. A short trip to restock means less people who got shorted because the counter was empty.
More storage also means you can store a larger amount to sell or purchase a larger amount trading.
Being rude like in your post above, is enough to earn a ban, so if they are moving or deleting your threads, Try being polite.
A Granary stores food products. A Market Building sells products.

I will be merging all threads here now
I am not a Dev, but I guess I am still able to answer your question: There are both buildings, because the Devs decided to.
I dont even know what you mean by "Market building".
There are two buildings containing the word "Market":
It might be for your interest, but it does not affect the gameplay at all, if you know why there are two buildings. So, maybe thats the reason your post was deleted? Or maybe you have benn not polite. I dont know.
Dude (OP) are you serious??? Just follow your own threads and dont blame others...
Also if you don't want to distribute every type of food to your people, you still can store it all in one place, without them taking it, because they do not take it from the granary, but from the market.
Another thing is that you can store everything in one place, but then sell it in multiple markets across your city (or more villages) if you want.
You don't really need to use the granary if you don't like it (the market staff will collect the resources from production buildings), but you won't be able to trade the food for money.
Ofc you could do all this via an in-game menu and allow/forbid toggles and limits, but that is not the way Devs decided to go, and it works fine as is. Also it makes sense, it worked like this historically.
