I will try to explain my optimal setup for the bread production: 2 Farms, 1 Mill, 1 Bakery.
Make sure that the path your settlers need to take are balanced: The farmer´s house would best be in the middle between the market/well and the workplace. Have both the mill and a granary next to the fields, to store wheat and flour (and perhaps boar and berries, theyre normally close by). The Bakery doesnt influence their surrounding, so you can build these in the city. Maybe have another granary close by with the flour setting on "maximise", so the workers will get the flour from the other storage while the bakery produces. Add bread as well, of course. Another well around the bakery´s corner will be beneficial anyways.
Right now i am looking into an increase of the mill ratio: Just found out that the mills store up to 180 wheat which doesnt show up in the inventory, so this might be a bottleneck in the production.
Does the number of works make any difference? The only difference I see is that the minimum size of the field changes if you have more workers, but the output does not change. Is there any benefit to more than one person?
