Abbess Hosting Failed

A Prosperous Priory, Part IV - hosting the Abbess and I have her at 110% approval/happiness and you need her to have 95% to succeed but when the timer ends its just pops up "Abbess Hosting Failed"

Same here, Abbess at 130%, timer stop two days before the end and the hosting failed.

i read somewhere that to pass you cant let it EVER fall below 95

First you need to Build a Monestary with all Monastic Buildings except Treasury and Great hall and fulfill the Prosperous Priory adivese Missions and the aspirations except Host the Abbess. After that the Abbess should come after some small time. Once she is there you need to ensure that her happiness doesn't fall below the threshold once. Since the game is still buggy and the mission will not complete at the end even if you have the checkmark and don't take the +10% Happiness for the Abbess sidequests since they also seemed fo caus the visit to fail.

I failed and the lower i had it's 97% never less. i don't understand. No failed quest and all people between 100 and 130% the last day.

I just had that quest. A continuous 100%, with every request she made putting her up to 130%. And her entourage was at 100%, themselves. AND I STILL FAILED??

The game must be bugged or something.

i have an idea that worked for me, when the abess is in town, DO NOT ACCEPT any royal mission (fight or visit of the king...) or the mission will failed.

I had a similar problem. Abbess visited, several challenges, all fulfilled. Out of nowhere (and without reason) the abbess says she is dissappointed. Then two challenges which made here twice happy (ie. 20% +, 10%-). Failed anyway.

After it fails to do you need to start completely over or will she visit again?

To add to that: I now have an abbess visit with three challenges, all of which have been successfully fulfilled, so the abbess is 30% content and 0% disappointed. The abbess visit is unsuccessful anyway. I tried three times to restart from a save, in case it is an RNG problem. It apparently isn't.

She will visit again, as far as I know you only get a debuff in trade with clerics.

Ah, that could be the reason. I thought of that when gaming. The abbess might not be happy if you walk off and kill people.... I'll try that next time. Thanks!
