The game could really do with a terrain brush, to flatten etc

I've got a really beautiful colony with lots of hills and a river running through it. However I sometimes need to build a building such as the Monastery Cloister which consists of a large multi part building with a hole in the middle.

I can build one but because there is NO flat land in my territory none of the roofs match up and it looks awful. I would be nice if you could flatten terrain using the paint tools, you could even have a building for villagers to go out and do the earth works with spades... It would be great.

The individual parts were automatically leveled in EA.
There was also a MOD with which you could create smooth surfaces.
I hope these functions will be restored.
