Can't get achievements cuz it's modded?

It's not modded. I'm not sure I understand. I just bought the game 2 days ago, and you literally can't mod it yet? Never played the EA version. I did however play the demo to see if I wanted to buy it.

Achievements are only possible playing on classic mode or harder. If you have changed any of the op rules at all from the setup screen making it a custom game achievements become disabled.

So, how come all the new achievements are still 0.0%? If nobody is achieving them, it leaves me worried that it is because they're still not working.

Either it is not working or hardly anyone is on classic and most are on custom. It does look odd that most are still at 0.1% I agree.

Yeah. I play on classic, or higher. I don't mess with the modifiers. It specifically said "Can't earn achievements due to mods", or something like that. When you're in game, and click on 'Achievements', it'll tell you.

Not 100% true. I've changed the cosmetic building option and I still got achievements. So you can change SOME, but I assume you can't change anything that would mess with the balance.

I deleted all my mods from both the steam folder and the my documents folder, then verified integrity to get back any necessary files, and still when I check on achievements it says, "Achievements cannot be earned while mods are enabled." How do I get rid of this flag?

Could it be because its a custom game? Cause mine dont unlock as well. I am playing a Custom game, i chose some parameters towards more difficulty

We're not even to the parameters. Simply from the main menu, before you even hit "new game" the achievements give this warning to the OP and I, despite no mods being present.

Yes, its not indicating that you have mods and can't get achievements, its just telling you that IF you have mods you won't get them.

I have no idea if it will actually tell you that your current game won't get them or not.

I had this warning appear the first time I played the game right after installing, so no mods, I play the game on normal difficulty and get achievements with the warning there.

It would be good if they change the warning to be clear IF you will currently be able to get achievements or not though.

Thank you for that. Yes, it does need to be made more clear, because it definitely feels like it's telling me my game won't earn achievements because of active mods (that don't exist). Glad to hear that's not what's actually happening. I may actually start playing later today, then.
