I have tons of fish and lack of berries just because pops consume them in 1:10 ratio.
Another example - the absolutely unbalanced bread production chain.
Simple balance when?
For me berries has always been weird, you have a big surplus for a while then suddenly you cannot keep up. I think this is due to having the extra optional needs, like church. Then of course if your church is not big enough and you build a second one you workers can travel to the farther one because it has space. Then berries like disappear once you start making alcohol.
The other thing would be how your market stalls are built. Used to be something like if you put too many food stalls in the same group they ignored the other stalls. Why I started making multiple stall groups in the same area and not putting more than two foods in the same group.
