dezoning housing
what is the effect ? I can see a small icon on top of the houses with a down side red arrow but I do not understand what it means. I just want them to move to a new zone

It is not immediate but it should happen soon.

It literally takes more time to end the game, open a post here, type the issue and wait for an answer than just wait in game and see what happens :)

Why will you end the game to post here ? plus you are wrong. It took a lot of time dezoning. that is why I posted and asked. I was not sure of how it works since it is not in the help

You are right, you don't have to end the game to post. Sorry, my bad. But I normally play a game, and then end it and ask questions. But that's just the way I do.

Zoning is left click. Dezoning is right click. It is done in less than a second. If you dezone over a already build house, there will be this icon immediately simultaneously with a notification, that houses will be deleted soon (in the middle of the HUD). The actual demolition takes some time of course, because you need time to react. But until then everything is prompt and immediate. Even if you miss all those hints, it does not take a lot of logical thinking, that buildings created through a zoning tool might get de-created by a de-zoning tool. Come on man.

I did not have a problem with "dezoning" action. If you read my post correctly I explicitly say I do the dezoning, see an icon on top of house... then nothing. It took sometime. the issue maybe is that there is no feedback on exactly how long.
So no, I am not a seer and cannot predict stuff if I have no idea of the rules at play. That is why I asked.

"come on man"

The reason it takes a bit of time is for those "oops, didn't mean to do that" times when you right click meaning to cancel the mode (since right click closes/cancels most other things) or other similar misclicks, giving you a clear warning and enough time to fix it even if you somehow didn't noticed right away and exited the zoning tool.

But yes, maybe a "progress" thing going around the icon or filling it up to represent the timer would be nice.
