Doesn't sound like a pleasant experience
In this case it wasn't anything complex. Just started the game and placed the well and the quarry. The transporters filled the well with wood and the quarry with everything it needed and it just waited for the builder. But he lingered on the central area for some ingame days tand then started to work.
Same here. How can this be bugged? Both these buildings are in the tutorial, so why has this not been fixed?
#1 if they are standing in the town center doing jack, they are on free time and have no house.
#2 if they are in their building office standing around or leaning (resting/waiting) it means you don't have the require resources to continue building.
The resource tracker at the top is misleading a bit. it could say you have 10 so you build a market but only 9 gets delivered and they will sit doing nothing. This means that 1 log is somewhere or bugged or reserved for something. So you would have to get a wood cutter built.once logs are available it will get built.
I've been playing this game for years. i made a "rookie" mistake when i started my latest town. I had built the lumber camp and marked out an area to cut trees, but I didnt notice that they used all the trees so the builders had no resources to continue. they were doing the standing around routine and i was like OH DOOOOH, expanded the wood area and back to easy mode.
Yeah, and neither was the case. He stood in the town center "on working time" and the building was fully stocked on the necessary resources.
Edit: For clarification: I've checked the bulding place itself for the resources and it was 10/10.
