How to pass the time, waiting for full release?
I'm struggling and just coping with Manor Lords since i've overplayed the demo a bit and not crazy about EA. How are any of you kingdom building addicts coping and waiting for Foundation's ultimate release?

So far i've burned through Settlement Survival, Settlements Rising, and now finally playing, in my opinion, the nauseating mess that is Manor Lords. None of them compare to even half the finesse provided by Foundation's demo despite some similarities

If you don't want to play something completely different (an EDF game is often good to have fun with increasingly crazy weapons, or a game with cards like ratropolis just to name a few that can let you have fun for a week or two easily), I found that farthest frontier is pretty good and now far enough in its development that it has quite a bit of content as well.
It is still in early access though, so if that's a problem to you then you might want to give it a pass but it felt a whole lot more polished and fun than settlement survival (which was kind of fun but felt unfinished to me).
It is also a lot more towards the "banished" side of things, which is not to everyone's taste but at least it doesn't feel generic.
If we are talking about spending a week (or more if you end up enjoying it of course) then it is definitely far from a bad pick (maybe a bit pricy for a single week though).

Im waiting for Foundation to release and be 50% off in a steam sale.
I have plenty of other games to play... I'll wait.

Russian Roulette is also quite entertaining.

I'm only waiting for release day because the patch will be in. But isn't the price something that typically increases after it leaves early access?

Going Medieval is an amazing game that I've been using to pass the time.

The price increase has already happened like a month ago a little bit after release date was announced and demo was released.
I've been enjoying Fabledom. It feels quite similar to Foundation and it's fully released so no Early Access

Also I've been replaying Eastshade. It's a completely different type of game but in the same kind of cozy category of games. It's essentially Skyrim/Oblivion without combat.

There's also Medieval Dynasty which is kind of like Kingdom Come with (almost) no combat and with village building elements. It's a much longer and more involved game however so you won't finish it before Foundation comes out.

I've been watching 'the expanse' to pass the time waiting for this weekend (argh) and the release of Foundation
Must admit, I'm a little frustrated to not know the hour of release/ time zone a bit more exactly - I had planned to have pizza and a six pack that night for the first game !

i'd say even with its Early access status, you should be able to bridge the last 3 days with "Memoriapolis" great city builder.
