No Mission List - Help!
My mission list is empty and no missions come up. I have to quests that ask me to send my company on a mission, but none are showing up. I followed all the castle quests and have all buildings and a full company of 5 with strength of 60, with spears. Although the quest log for the mission claims I have only strength of 45. I have been waiting forever for a mission to show up. Is this bugged? I already reloaded,in the hope that a mission pops up. I don't want to start again, I spent like 6 hrs on this session.

No military missions - list empty
My mission list is empty and no missions come up. I have quests that ask me to send my company on a mission, but none are showing up. I followed all the castle quests and have all buildings and a full company of 5 with strength of 60 (spears). I have been waiting forever for a mission to show up.

What I tried to fix:
Reloaded game
Disbanded company and reformed to full strength
In my desperation not to loose 8 hrs of game time I completely destroyed the castle and all buildings associated with it and again build the castle, barracks and armory. Lost a few spears and reformed company. Still the mission list is empty.

This game is done and I am as well done with this game, having spend so much time and then ending up in a progression blocker such as this.
Please share your save file to check what might be going on there :/

You can do so via googleDrive/oneDrive/weTransfer/etc. link here or on discord ( discord.gg/foundation )

Where do I find my save games?
You can find your save games here:

• Non-Cloud saves

After some testing, I have determined the specific cause (bug). After the courier arrives (A Noble duty) with 50 spears and 5 kingdom influence, a script has to trigger to populate the Mission List. If it doesn't and you save the game, as nearly as I can tell the save is permanently bugged. It isn't strictly necessary to start a new game, but you have to go back to a save prior to this event.

I am responding so this info can get into the body of knowledge and get fixed. Hope that helps.

Can you provide a save file to replicate the bug? The missions unlocking are not tied to the messenger but to your castle being "correctly" constructed with all functions so it would be prudent to investigate in case there is another bug there.

What I found is that once the courier shows up, for me about half the time the mission list would not get populated. I had unknowingly saved this and had to go back quite a few saves to find out when it was happening and lost quite a bit of progress. I have both a save prior to event and after, but I don't use Discord.

I assume that the castle construction triggers the courier, so essentially we are talking about the same event, but of course I don't know the specifics of the behind the scenes triggers.

@Minotorious I I am not using Discord Google Drive. I can potentially send the file to an email.
I have done multiple games and always followed the castle building instructions as per mission/quest. Two out of 5 times the bug came up and the mission list is empty. After a few searches, I can see that this bug comes up with a lot of players and was not addressed for a while now. The only way out is to restart a new game. Such a progression blocker should not be in the release version of the game.

I had similar issues with the balif quest and teh balif not assignable to the the bailif sub structure that was build in the manor house. But here at least you could destroy the sub building and re-build the bailif structure and then it was possible to assign the balif.
This does not work with the military mission list trigger, which stays empty even after rebuilding the castle, plus all required sub-structures, including the right sizes, training everyone up to full strength. The list simply stays empty for the rest of the game and you can't pursue the Kingdom path,

There are a lot of these building triggers that don't work properly in 1.0

Use weTransfer as I already suggested above, it is free, needs no account, and you can send the link directly here.

The problem with most bug reports is that because the game isn't directly intuitive in a lot of areas they come down to the player missing something else and not the game having a bug.

That is why it is imperative to see save files to confirm actual bugs.

Throughout this post it appears you are trying to provide a link to follow, but there is no actual link to click on.
I didn't provide a link because I thought it was simpler to tell you that you can use any file sharing service you want instead by saying that
You can also share the save file via googleDrive/oneDrive/weTransfer/etc. link here
but apparently that is not clear so here are links for a few, though note some need an account to use:

Here are some before and after saves:

Greenburg 81 Population.foundation (after)
Same problem. That combined with constant crashes - this is not really worth it...
