Supposedly the dev is going to be looking into path finding and if he can't find a solution then I'm all for letting them walk through objects if they're going to produce a block notice.
For my way of playing zoomed out I would never notice workers walking through the side of a building since it shouldn't be all that often anyway. And make it a game toggle if it can't be fixed properly so as not to ruin an otherwise nice game who's damn popup notes about blocked paths are really starting to grind my gears, as a toggle others can leave it off for those who are not bothered by a sometimes barrage of pathing notes showing up
I had a forager trying to reach a berry bush that was inside a cliff and got notifications for that all the time. After moving the building a bit farther away, the notifications stopped
There are a few things that cause "Path Blocked" errors: Berry bushes/Trees inside houses (which you may need to use the Resource removal tool on), Foresters planting trees on 'White Arrows', and a few other less minor things like assigning a worker to a building under construction.
