titles?

so i just finished my priory run and in the new game i do not see any new titles for me to choose

Every new run starts at Pioneer. They're only available within the session they're earned.

You can change the titles and town description on the first tab of the book whilst in game. Beyond that I don't think they have any impact anywhere . . . maybe screenshots (I've never taken a screenshot, not sure).

I've been wondering the same thing, I see every game that I gain titles and sort of expect that having a higher title would involve something fun and good in the game but if it does I can't see what it is.

Was story telling a function thought to add to the game to make it more story heavy? Every time I see some text in game about this story, or that story increases x,y,z % etc. it makes me think that the player titles are an unworked / unfinished function.

By the looks of it titles are only cosmetic and used in screenshots.
