The large quarries? After your Bailiff prospects the mineral deposit to discover what kind of deposit is, just click on it and start building.

There is a mandate that the bailiff must complete. Click on the button, near the top-right area of your screen, that has a darkened picture of the bailiff. When that opens, you should see a number of things you command the bailiff to do.

A number of items you see listed, will be described with the ability to prospect various locations. You need to first click on the tiny button, on each prospect line, that allows the game to center the view of your screen, to that exact location. Click on each and every one of those tiny buttons, and then make a decision on which exact location you want the bailiff to walk to, to prospect/investigate the site. Note that it will take him a number of days for him to have an answer for you, so you need to be patient for him to return with the answer.

What he finds at each location, seems to be random. It could be items like stone, iron, marble, gold, quartz, etc. The game sometimes duplicates a find, with something you already found at another site.

I'm confused why it tells me it's waiting on a builder but 3 builders next to the quarry are just snoozing waiting on a job when the quarry job is next to them waiting for a builder.

Weird. How far away are the Tools & Planks from the Builder's Workshop? I can only guess that maybe the needed resources are too far away or somehow forbidden / inaccessible. Logistics are sometimes weird and confusing.

Check pathing from resource sources to the quarry. Might have a blockage develop you didn't realize (like housing growing).

Shouldn't that trigger a path error message? Because I don't see it and the resources required are being used in other projects when I create a new project that uses the same resource.

I think I've maybe missed a step somewhere to do the quarry but can't figure it out.

I see that you have marked the site as priority. Have you also marked other projects as priority? That can cause an issue if you clicked the other ones more recently . . . just a thought, it has happened to me at times when I get too trigger happy on clicking priorities.

Save your game first. then try a quick restart while playing, which is CTRL-SHIFT-R.

I had issues like this w building parts of my monetary, saving and restarting helped some parts get built, but not entirely. for me, the only thing that got the builders actually working on it (rather than the generic 'waiting on a builder' message in the popup window) was to delete the unbuilt parts of the building and replace them again. its annoying, especially if you've already paid, but it got the parts built
