Monastery upgrade problems
After final release the building of monuments like a monastery, has become much more difficult. Now you have to build one part, then another, and another, all with separate doors for access. Before you could chose all prts from one list. And to upgrade nuns and monks to a higher level? Almost impossible, since you need brothers and sisters to run everything. But you only have novices who practically can´t do much. And you cannot upgrade since the demands for that needs brothers and sisters... Anybody know how this can be solved?

I second that, I have no idea what I am doing wrong? The novice are working in the scriptum, but to upgrade them, they need food what can only be produced after the are upgraded to brother or sister. On top of that, the monastry food is made with vegetables from the garden for which I cannot choose (AGAIN) a brother or sister. Really frustrating.
You don't need brothers or sisters. They are just the optimal "status" novices can work in any of those jobs, but they are not as effective in them. Also you do not assign monastics directly, they move from one job to another as needed by themselves. They work little differently than villagers in this regard.
You also don't need separate doors for each part (where applicable . . ,. this doesn't work for the off-buildings, but they also don't need doors at all), just snap the buildings together and they will use the main door.

First of all, when you are adding a building in the monastery, you see the green space inside the buildings where the villagers can move around. If the green space is connected between two buildings, the villagers can use the door on the first building to get access to the second building. You don't need to put doors everywhere.
Second, novices are just less productive than nuns and monks but they can have the same job. To get more books (forgot the official name in the game), I upgraded first the novices in the scriptorium. Another trick is to upgrade novices in production buildings (i.e. bee farm, wineries, herb garden,...) so they produce more. You can than sell the excess and get a lot of money from that. I may get the "Have 10 000 coins achievement" in my own game just by selling wax, herbs, and wine from my monastery.
