Black sheep in 1.0? Yes!

Since the previous thread referred to the EA version, I just wanted to share ... YES, the black sheep achievement still works in 1.0 (actually 1.10.+ at time of posting this). I just got it a few minutes ago.

Apparently there was a spawn button (before my time) but that is no more.

Now you have to create sheep farms and hope that one eventually spawns.

So I made sheep farms.

A LOT of sheep farms.

At first, the fields were beautifully organized, a thing of precision. When I ran out of room I started painting inside the city.

Neighborhoods, markets, even inside the cloister -- there were sheep running everywhere.

When the city filled up, I was buying new territories and spam-painting with wild abandon.

But no black sheep.

So I tore them all down and built them up again, because I wasn't sure if erasing the fields and re-creating them would spawn totally new sheep, or re-spawn the same set...?

I experimented with different painting patterns. Long fields, square fields, even polka-dotted fields (with big gaps between them).

When I was just about to give up hope, I heard the Steam notification sound.

WHAAAAT? It spawned??

I had to see this thing. Was it in the forests? My builders cut them down. Not there. Just before I was about to start tearing down neighborhoods, I saw it. A weird black dot that wasn't moving. At first I thought it was a glitch. But when I zoomed in ... he was just sitting there staring at me.

Naturally I took a bunch of screenshots, but I guess that's kinda spoilery so I won't share.

In the end, I had 31 (yes, thirty one) sheep farms on the map, not including the dozens I had torn down previously. The black sheep spawned on the 11th farm of the latest set, just when I was thinking I should tear them all down and make another set.

I guess sheep must spawn and despawn ... or perhaps they just spawn really slowly? Anyway, it was just over 2 game-months after I painted the last field, so if you're going for this achievement ... I'd suggest waiting a bit between teardowns.

Hi, I just got black sheep - All you need is to create a farm with a very large field (near 3 times bigger) where 50+ sheep can be spammed
