How to promote militiamen to soldiers ?

I see any button to do it. Thanks for help.
I've 5 companies, 10 militia each, all of them are lvl 5, but I cant promote them. Is it a bug or what ?

Go to the Mandate page (the "Bailiff-looking" button in the top-right area of your screen) and in the window that opens, find one of the lines near the top that will open the promotion page. Check there to see if you can do it. If you can not, read the entire section related to the soldiers, and see if maybe you are missing a requirement.

Another quick way, is to also click on an individual soldier, and in the top-left area of the small info panel that opens, you can promote them there.

to promote serfs, you need to fulfill their needs, same with militia men.

so say you have a massive village doing the whole fish and berries thing and service. your serfs still need refined food to be promoted.

I figure militia men need entertainment or refined food? I forget, haven't checked.

edit: your militiamen need to be level 4 to promote to soldiers, and 6 is knights
