LOL! That's impressive! I wouldn't dare go so far into red turnover... Seems to work well for you, though, considering your population size

I'll never get there, lol. That's wicked impressive!

This is what I'm working with now:

Wow - you have the coolest ideas, and I have no idea where I would ever find the patience to line up all those circles perfectly. Whenever I try to even have two sorta kinda same-shape thingies, they are always crooked... lol

Looking forward to seeing it develop, if you're kind enough to share :-)
So I lost patience with the other game (not because of the map, but because of my crap city development).

Currently playing seed 513w8P0WE00fz and trying double blueprinting fortifications. I now also start construction once I've blueprinted it and then immediately stop it. Why? Because that way, the villagers will walk through the prepared gates rather than wherever they want. For some reason, that pleases me... lol (and the construction preview setting helps visualize it for later)

edit: also first time I've tried the single house residential. Not a fan of it just yet, but we'll see where it leads.

Lol. I'm actually about to rewind about 4 hours just because I don't like the idea I went with in my city. But it's not bad enough to restart

Actual housing compactness isn't necessary, but if you want single houses to be more compact, wait for a house to plot itself before dotting the next adjacent house. Us a slight overlap (basically at the house's fence line).

Nice map, I'll make a note of that seed for later.

What happens if people leave that live in those homes that have the stone walls around them? Does the house vanish and leave the stone walls behind and would another home sprout up there later on or would the walls prevent the game adding a new house there?
