Weather Vane, Ground Placement Only?
Why is the weather vane ground placement only? I have NEVER seen a weather vane on ground level, they are always on top of buildings where wind can accurately be measured.

Are they going to be changed? I want them on my building's roof, not on the lawn.

I can only snap them to the roof of my manor house, in my game there are no other snap point for them, but I've heard I can place a ton of them inside the building on the ground with no snap point to hide them from view and looking stupid but still gain the splendor of having them for my manor house. And there are 3 snap points on my main manor house for them but IMO they look ridiculous to have 3 of them on the roof, unless one or more are rusted from bad weather and someone is too lazy to replace then that's the only reasoning to me to have more than one on the roof.

Thanks for the tip!
I tested it myself and it works, I dumped a bunch of weather vanes inside a manor building and ended up with something like 78 splendor and could not see any of the weather vanes that were placed inside the building, hidden perfectly. Great cheat, Love it.

The first thing to do is to click on your grand hall.

then in the pop-up window that appears, click on the hammer icon (Edit building) that's just right of the red shovel / spade icon. That will activate the edit function (bright green bottom outline and snap points). You can then select the weather vane and place it on one of three roof snap points for the great hall
