City Market issue
i posted this previous but forgot the picture was private.
I built city market in my new run as i have in other towns but realised it needed more stalls but when i go to edit it wont let me add is there something I'm doing wrong or is this a bug

Ok I see the issue, you are adding another market building as part of the one you already placed. Just make it a sub-building, so click the "+Add a sub-building" button and add it that way.

So the two buildings should appear on the list.

Oh I see what you mean. But I wasn’t adding the other market building in that pic I had already built it with 2 to start with it just wouldn’t let me add to it’. I’m guessing that’s a small bug that I was allowed to complete the building like that all fixed now though thanks

Not sure if it's a bug, or something that got changed in the latest update. It was after the update I built my first market, and for me it was always this way. If you built yours before the last update, and now its not working, yeah it could be something they changed.
Something did change with the City Market recently, and I found it much stricter about having JUST one market hall and ONE storage depot. Other than exactly those two buildings and you can't put the stalls in. Go figure.

Great example. I been telling people for weeks now to divide it into sub buildings because it spreads out the transporter work loads better.

I suspect what changed why the original allowances for number of parts did not work. They simply made it work. Limiting the number of parts seemed kinda strange especially when you could just make sub buildings or another building group.
theyve changed the market mechanic, now only 1 building per slot instead of 2 like before
this lowers the amount of shipper serfs and makes the market a lot worse

So they have changed it I thought I was cracking up I knew I had built it that way previous and it was fine.
Although you can build it the old way I found that in the blueprint stage if you place your first building add all the stalls then drag it and connect it to 2nd it will let you build it the old way. But it won’t let you edit it afterwards it’s a lot of messing about so probably easier to just add sub building I’ve done one for foods and one for goods so far

yeah thats how I did it too. So I have 3 buildings, one is food, the middle one is luxury, and the one at the back with the crane is goods.
