Cannot build quarry next to deposit

I've attached the quarry with all the necessary buildings and prospected it. However I still cant build it? Any suggestions

Your comment sounds contradictory. You say you have "attached the quarry with all the necessary buildings" (which sounds like you "built the quarry"), but then also say "I still can't build it." Give us more information, so we can help you.

probably didnt build the depot.

quarry requires, the mining part, and the depot, which says "crane"
you need both to build.

you also need the land the quarry is located in. so if you prospected it, but its sitting in unowned land, you cant build there, or if you're trying to build your crane in unowned land

You place the stuff in blueprint mode, after that you press the build/build all button, he can't press the button.

if you got enough resources, then simply remove all, click on an other building, then click the quarry again and place the stuff again, see if that works.

I have the same issue. I can build on Stone and marble deposits but gold, iron and quartz are all showing a greyed out button for 'make changes' despite having a quarry and a crane there.

is your quarry building ending up outside your territory? I've found that you can buy the area of the mineral deposits but if the quarry scaffolding ends up outside your owned territory, it won't build.

Likewise:
On iron deposit, well within owned territory.
I have placed a quarry, and a crane, si the two components in the requirements have checkmarks.
Required:
20 tools, I have 30.
40 planks. I have 104.
25 gold. I have 27 with positive income.
But the Apply Changes still remains greyed out.
I have removed and placed the components multiple times, selecting other buildings in the meantime.

Hey Ash, do you follow the threads in Steam? Any ideas?

Have you gained the goldsmithing and jewelry-making ability yet? That may be necessary. When I first started, I was confused about iron mining until I realized that I had to achieve/pay for that in the technology tree.

I don't know what the issue is with my first Iron Mine. Either it is on too sterp a slope for the game to allow it to be built, or there is an in-game dependency, that you need to build an Iron Mining Camp near some iron rich rocks first.
Once I'd built the iron miners camp, and prospected a second iron deposit, THEN I could build the iron quarry.
But even after I'd built the quarry on the second deposit, I could still NOT build a quarry on the first deposit.

Same bug here. Can build a quarry on a stone deposit next to the iron deposit, but not on the iron deposit. I mean I can place everything and prerequisites should be fulfilled, but the build button remains grayed out.

Encountered the same problem. I presume this must have something to do with the bugged disposition of the deposit itself, because the whole deposit is highlighted with red already when I simply select it, even though I can attach all necessary buildings.

UPD: The issue fixed itself after I saved and loaded the game, wtf. I was able to build the quarry normally.

Yep saving and reloading fixed it.
