Manor House vs Castle
I notice with the Manor House and Castle they offer several of the same building options, both offer the Great Hall, both offer a treasury, and I'm wondering which one I should build.

Should I be building the great hall as part of the Manor House, or part of the Castle?
Same with the Treasury....

I guess the question is
Is there any benefit to building these as part of the Manor House, or Castle?
What do other players normally go with?

I also wonder, should I build the Manor House within the walls of a completed Castle, seems logical that the seat of power would be within the walls of a castle.

I find that you get more treasury space for the upkeep in the Castle but other than that it's the same

Also the great hall boost splendour by 1.5x so it's available in all three branches
It's really up to you and what you want to focus on, functionally the treasuries are exactly the same, and you can have multiple of them in any estate. Same with the Great Hall but only one in total per game. Monastery also has Great Hall and treasury - only difference is no fortification so you'd at least have to [speed runs early game to check] unlock Manor House and build a Manor House as Great Hall per the task. That unlocks Rustic Church, which will give you fortification options for a treasury from their towers. Then you could change the Manor House Great Hall into a tax office or free build and entirely ignore the rest of the Labour Estate.

So, is your game about being a military Duke/Duchess with a village attached? Stick the Great Hall in the Castle using a Castle building. A town with a military garrison, Great Hall in the Manor House and treasuries in either or both. Monastery with a pious village, stick it in the Monastery.

Or a mix of any/all.
