Watchtowers
I keep getting notifications of "Villager could not reach Village Watchtower", but I've checked all of them and they are accessible and even followed my patrollers and they all could access it so I'm not sure what's going on. Please help.

I get this all the time and this is what causes it.

I set a watchtower up, click build, then assign a person to it (even though it aint done building yet.)

The reason why is because the watchtower is not built yet there is no interior access. So you have two solutions.
- Prioritize the entire building in the build queue.
- Go into the parts tab, select the door then prioritize just the door.

Are you talking about the Watchpost?
Because I'm having issues with the wooden watch towers, and I can't assign anyone to those.

Those work differently.
You need need to paint the area around it with a patrol paint brush.
Then you need to assign someone to watcher job in a nearby tower (I think 75m is the limit?) You need to assign a few people, otherwise when that person goes on their free time you lose the fortification buff on your houses and get notified.

I found it easier to just ignore the watchtowers and build walls or passive fortification buildings just so I did not have to deal with the housing notices. Building with the passive fortification buffs are in the Manor, Castle, and Bell Towers for churches marked with the IIII symbol.

How to unlock the watchtower tho? I have the fortifications upgrade bought but it doesn't show up in my manor modules... I build all the towers I have available to no avail, none is named "watch tower".

Watchtowers are under Labor and manor upgrades, village fortification.

Ok so it's the new type of manor, not its module, I wish game's translation to my language wasn't so half-assed, everything would be simpler... In Polish it says "build a manor which has a watchtower", doesn't make any sense...

No, it is a subbuilding of the manor to make watch towers.
It is unlocked when you buy village fortifications.
I think there's some sort of glitch in path finding. I've gotten many "no path" notices, checked the person it flagged, and they are merrily going about their business. Have yet to find a truly stuck character. I rarely use a watch tower. It seems walls do a better job anyway.
