Villager path blocked errors
I'm surprised to find that the Cloister is still causing Villager path blocked errors, I would have thought it would have been fixed by now.
In past play-throughs I've gotten the error a couple of times while the cloister was being constructed, but this time through it was particularly bad.
One of the builders who was supposed to build the cloister was standing at one of the stakes in the ground for an unconstructed segment. I tried what I could think of to get her to move; I evicted her from her home, fired her from the builder's hut, built another one and hired her there. I even changed her name. There's not much else you can do to an individual villager, but nothing I did made any difference.
I noticed in the Current Whereabouts banner that the text was alternating between "I am on free time" and "I am working." Not sure if that means anything or not.
Basically she stayed there, her hunger and thirst increasing and her happiness decreasing, even after another builder came over and started constructing the segment she was stuck to. Last I saw her she was in the wall. I assume she died of thirst and vanished.
I'm sure I'm not the only one that has seen this, anyone have a solution?

This happens to me if I build a cloister among trees. I now remove all tress in the area before starting the cloister. Since I have been doing this, no villager's path is blocked while building the cloister.

You can't build a full cloister at once, you need to leave one wall open otherwise they can't enter the cloister to build.

I am still playing the old version and just built my first cloister. I put the monastery garden inside of the cloister, but I built the garden first so all of the nuns were still working when I pressed build. Unfortunately, when the cloister was in development all of the nuns were stuck! They couldn't go back into their rooms, access food or water, so people could only access the cloister from the outside. I had path blocked come up and the happiness dropped so low they just began to leave my village. I just had to wait until they finished building it and the unhappy villagers left because they were stuck unless you destroy the blueprint and start over.

I built my monastery in a U shape. Herb garden in the middle and then "sealed" the garden by using the cloister across the top. I had the same issue, but quickly built another door on the side and hey presto, the nuns and monks still worked in the garden whilst the cloister was being built :) You can then extend left or right normally.

You need to leave one wallsection out of it. otherwise its already enclosed and due to it being enclosed, no one can enter or exit the area.

So if you have a save before they left, remove one wallsection of the cloister and it should fix it.

I build my cloisters all at once. The only problem I have is with trees. However, the cloister is always attached to a building that has a door.

I do not put anything in the cloister till it is built. I found out when I put benches in the cloister before it was done. Villagers got stuck.

They want to sit on the bench, but because they cant path to it, they get the stuck or cant reach.
