Early access v Demo
If i buy the Early access today (instead of waiting for the end of the month for the full release), will I be able to use more Trade Routes today, or would that still only be available at the end of the month with the release of the full game?

There are 4 trade routes in the early access version if that is what you are asking.
You won't be able to use your demo save with the early access version though.

ok, so I either keep playing my current Demo version with 1 trade route...or i switch to the Early Access version and get 4 trade routes but start from scratch? Easy decision: Early Access it is 😅

thanks for the info 😉

The early access is in other ways too an old version of the game that in the developers eyes was not good enough. But it seems you bought it already, so doesn't matter :).

I was quite happy, for one playthru, of the EA version. Wouldn't start another game with though, not good enough for another week.

I'm finding out as we speak. so many little bugs in the Early access version. I should have stayed with the Demo version until Full version came out. Oh well, live and learn 😂

I've just built a forager hut and have assigned workers to it, but they won't collect any berries even though they're right beside them 😂

You just forgot to mark the area for extraction.

omg, you are a lifesaver. I was just about to switch off my PC lol

I'm pretty sure in the Demo version this was slightly different, where you had to do it from the forager hut menu and not from the paint menu. 😀

There are many differences between the two versions, you might even want to do the tutorial because of it.

Stone and berries do not need painted zone anymore in the demo and full release, you can also notice that the blue extraction zone has been renamed to woodcutting zone as it only pertains to cutting trees now

I guess that the price of the 1.0 version will be higher than the EA version now.

No, the price increase happened in December (the 18th):

You can still play the demo if you are not liking the early access version and just consider it a pre-purchase and switch to the full game on the 31st Jan, 2025.

Personally, I think the ea version is ♥♥♥♥ compared to the demo and the demo is ♥♥♥♥ to what the full version will be because they had to turn off so many functions in the demo because, well... It's a demo and tight enough to choke a chicken with disabled features which is normal for a demo but sad that they didn't put out an update for the EA version for all the people that were willing to give them their money for the antiquated outdated ea version. To me it shows a lack of respect for the ea customers that supported them for the past however many years that ea has been available on Steam.

Sadly, even if the game is fantastic on release it won't be remembered for being a great game, it will be remembered for its ea/demo fiasco as will the developer/publisher themselves.

Enjoy the game, I'm sure many people will wnjoy it come 31.01.25

Meanwhile, the player rating over the last 30 days is 5% higher than the total rating. And this coming on the heels of both the "eA/DeMO fIaSCo" AND a price increase. Nobody cares about this stuff except for a comparatively small and vocal handful of people whose parents never taught them the most basic life skills like patience and when the game releases all of this childish nonsense will be immediately forgotten.

I was a little disappointed going from the Demo and then to EA as well, but I don't think it's that big a deal, hardly anyone will remember it was even a thing after release. (Which i'm very much looking forward to!)
