low prosperity
Hi,

I am playing the 1.9v and I have been stuck for a while on low prosperity, namely 18 after building my manor. I just managed to get 19 by keeping the immigrants coming, but that also means I am running out of food quickly. The other ways to raise my prosperity is through money, which only very slowly trickles in, buying territory which is currently too expensive and I obviously can't do commerce, splendor or beautification.

Any tips on how to overcome this state of limbo?

So, I managed to wait long enough with a town with low food but otherwise filled to the limit yard, to get some money. I buy a new territory and suddenly have 29 prosperity. Great! Now I can sit back again and wait for enough money to buy a fisher's hut.

There is a lot of waiting, I am meaning to say. Perhaps I did something wrong too early, like buy a territory before you are award your first free one?

Ill agree with you, advancement has been very slow, laborious and quite frankly boring, waiting for the gold to come in. Has some good points thou especially the increase in church capacity.

Make sure there are lots of churches, just simple ones with a bell tower and door is enough to keep them happy.

The update is very imbalanced. Early game takes forever, late game you have more money than you can spend.

Yep, sorry devs, but this preview update sucks a bit. Evrything that made the game fun to play has been changed. What were the test players doing all this time before the release of the preview? Did they not give any feedback to the devs on how laborious the gameplay has become now? Or how the editing of buildings has become unnecassarily complicated and unwieldy. Not impressed by it so far, needs a lot of work to make the game a joy to play again. I never thought I would have been saying this, but they really ♥♥♥♥♥♥ it up at the moment.

You are probably aware of it, but I just loaded a game and had lost 10 prosperity. This was gone from the wealth factor. It probably will spring back to it's original place as soon as the end of the month has come, or so I hope. But nonetheless it is not fun to come back to a game and having 'lost' prosperity.

About the sub-building, I (and other) warned the DEV about that. I agree with practice, you can adapt yourself to the new gameplays, But currently, I can't help debugging a player who has a problem with these sub-buildings: too complex ! This is out of the scope of a "casual" player !
