Can't prospect?
I have a few mineral nodes on my map but my bailiff doesn't have any options to prospect them. I've tried extending my territory out near them, building near them and relocating my bailiff office near them but no new option to prospect ever shows up. The map is just the default coastal map, everything is completely vanilla. Am I missing something? Is it possible to get a map with no marble, gold and quartz nodes?

Could you post a couple of screenshots? The conditions to be able to prospect them are:

1) Own the land 3 hexes away
2) The bailiff can path to the nodes

I have the same issue. My city is surrounded by nodes, yet my bailif doesn't give me the option to prospect 😤

I've also had this issue on a recent map.
Now that I've built bridges and expanded over the river to the new nodes, there is no new option to prospect.
(I was thinking that the changes might be due to the updates made to the manor house progression)

Save and reload the file. thats what i did and the nodes showed up

We also found that a bugged door to the Great Hall can be the cause

Hi, i have the same problem, i've tryied :
- making a bridge to give my baily the ability to go to nodes
- change the baily
- change the great hall building
- reload my game
- unlock the lands containing the nodes (i get an audio alert informing me that there are ores and minerals)

Anyway, nothing works, the baily doesnt give me any prospecting options

Could you please post the save file for us to take a quick look?

Did you actually rebuild a new manor with a great hall or just changed the function within the existing building? If the latter try the former and make sure the little pin you place at the start is inside the building.
