Tarven Kitchen meal ? Purpose ? Worth ?
I don't really get the utility of the meal from the tavern kitchen.

I haven't used it yet, but i really wonder is this is worth the building.

On the paper, it use 1 cheese + 1 bore to make 1 meal, when that's suppose to be 6 peoples eating (5 meat + 1 cheese).

It also doesn't appear in the peoples need/items giving them fun/merchandises, etc

kitchen meals are not food, just a gold and maybe happiness boost

Do the tavern meals also produce gold? I did not see that on the ledger.
It does provide a happiness boost (I believe 20% for the person who eat the meal).

When you select a villager that had a meal and look at his happiness breakdown, you can see it there.

You need 10 Meals in Stock for the Minstrel to appear, which then unlocks a Masterpiece. You can pause the Tavern, let the Kitchen run, produce the 10 Meals and wait for the Minstrel to make this happen with minimal effort. For the Happiness boost it was too much of a hassle for me to use kitchen, i used the Boars (Meat) and Cheese as 2 Food sources instead.

Pointing mouse over the Happiness (the smiley face) in the Villagers tab (on top of the screen) would show the overall happiness % effect by the Tavern Meal.
Only commoners and citizens can consume Tavern Meals. Usually It is useful to counter the minus happiness drop when they are under heavy taxing.
I have sufficient boars (26 hunters over 654 populations) for Butcheries and for Tavern Kitchen.

My kitchen has never made a meal on 2 separate games. I have the materials for it I have it staffed and everything else. Once in a while it even stocks itself but never makes a meal.

Meals get served with each Alcohol serving, if your Tavern runs good Meals simply do not have time to stockpile up and they are not shown in the "consumed this week" part. You can pause the Tavern and let the Kitchen run alone to see if Meals are made. Or you can look if some of your Commoners/Citizen have the 20% Tavern Meal Happy Bonus.
