How to relocate goods from a empty workplace to another?

Hi
as my village expands and grows, i would like to relocate some workplaces. but i cant find a way not to loose all the goods in their stock. i left it without any workers or then tried to leave one worker, so he maybe would empty it as i paused the production. so i will alway loose the goods?

There is no real way to do this by force but what you can do is fire or move all the workers to the new workplace letting the old one empty and wait until transporters take the goods from there to a warehouse.

Note that workers do not deliver in Foundation they only fetch to their own workplaces! ;)

I wish the raw materials would also be available for transporters to relocate. For example, if I want to build a new Sawmill, and I move the workers, there might be a few logs and a few planks remaining. The transporters will eventually get the planks, but I also wish they would take the logs. Maybe there should be a "take all inventory" button (which would also prioritize transporters)?
