How do buildings work now?

The last time I played when you built a manor you selected the building and then assigned certain sections like treasury and great hall. Now I am just confused

You place the monument stake where you want to build, then you select a function (sub-building) and construction requirements such as room, door, etc.

Do I have to build a new building for a treasury? How do I select for a manor to have a treasury and a great hall? Whenever I build and I select a sub building I can only build off of whatever that sub building is(ex. treasury). Basically how do I make 1 part treasury, another part great hall, and another tax office?

Basically you edit the parent building and add sub-buildings with different functions.

One sub-building per function, i.e. Treasury, Great Hall, etc.

be advised if you click the manor house you can change it to a great hall and visa versa back to a manor house -this could get you confused when placing rooms or building parts
