Improving the Market - but how?
Soooo... I have built a market early on, I have 3 tables but I left it with that due to the tight resources at the start. I remember last time I played this game I was able to add decoration later anyways but somehow this doesn't seem to work.
I have already built tables but when I try to build the tents it tells me it requires a market stall. The tent has snapped to the table but I can't build it. Also, I can't add anything to my existing market, not even signs or other decorative elements.

I am suspecting a "user issue" with sub-building:
You need to be under the market stall sub-building containing already the stall built, not the parent view, nor a newly fresh sub-building.
(you should have the link "wiew parent market" displayed on top of your market window,
and the radio button "stall" marked 1/1.
otherwise: exit the market window, DOUBLE click on the built stall...)

Thank you!
It's fiddly but it worked out somehow. It's a little irritating the way sub-buildings are displayed but once you know you know. Had to delete the whole thing anyway but that was due to another issue :')
Thanks again

how do you build a stall to sell shirts?

You have to unlock it in the book - common path

So what happens here is that previously (IIRC) tables did not snap together. However now they do, back to back.

However, the tents cover the area behind the tables, not in front of the tables.

So when you have two tables that were snapped together "because they snap," you can't cover them later on with tents, because the tent can't sit over the table behind it.

It's kind of stupid and the snapping of uncovered tables should be removed.
