No buildings after placing village center

I played earlier versions and have complete saves with buildings. I try new games and I place the town center and no other buildings show in the hammer /build menu. Just the search and all symbol, which show nothing. My people just walk around In the building center doing nothing.

Yet I load up an old save from earlier version and everything works. I am playing on the steam deck, although I don't see how that could be the cause as everything else is functioning.

Are you sure you are not still in the tutorial? If so that unlocks buildings for you one at a time so you build them in the "correct" order. i.e. first the village centre, then you get the advice for the builder's hut, etc.

After making the village center, the builders house doesnt come up to make lumber camp or other buildings. I tried to exit and start again. no way. No Builders house

check the bottom left of your screen, there should be an advice available for you to accept that will unlock the builder's hut

I tried.. Even I accept the advise it doesnt come up :(

That can't be though as accepting the advice unlocks the builder's hut, did you close and reopen the building menu?

Can you post a short video of what exactly you are doing for us to see?

Basically the picture shows the territory, village center and when the advice gets on builders workshop, nothing except the name. I cannot build it :( May be theres something wrong with the mods?
