bit disappointed this isnt a new building but just an older abbey core being reused,

Did you have to do anything other than unlock it in the Clergy progression tab in order to build it? I've unlocked it but I cannot build it. I'm wondering if it has to do with the aspiration you select at the beginning, or maybe it's a bug??

No, it is a sub-building of the monastery, one time unlocked , you be able to build it ...

@wuik yes, the legacy monastery. get it from the 4th blueprint newly added.

So I need to go down the Military progression tab to unlock blueprints in order to build the abbatial church, which is a monastery part, not a church?

no, u unlock abbatial church in last line of clergy estate. u unlock blueprints by doing military missions

I guess I thought that as a "Church" it would either appear as a third church type, or be extra parts for the "chapel" sub-building of the monastery. I didn't scroll all the way to the bottom of the sub-building menu either I guess. THANKS!!!
