Quarry/Mine? HOW?????

For the love of all that is good and holy and sweet - how the "heck" do i build a dang quarry? wiki says 20 commons, i had that hours ago. I found the ore, I've bought the territory - how do i mine it? I don't have the building unlocked - i've searched for "iron", "mine" "quarry" - nothing pulls up other then the iron smelter....If i have to watch one more youtube video that is 30 mins and never actually tells you how i'm going to flip out!
Please help :-)

You need to click on the discovered mineral node to build mines on it, it will open a building window

Have you sent your bailiff to actually prospect the nodes to uncover the mineral inside? i.e. you can see the ore sticking out of the rocks and you can click on that.

yep - see attached - it has iron, marble and gold all sticking out of it I also found one that is just minerals - same thing, clicked all over and a window pops up saying i need to build a quarry on top of it - but no quarry is available for me to build. I am continuing to send out the bailiff in hope something changes - at this point im soooo frustrated

You can click on the screenshots on your profile and make them public then I can see them :)

You say a window pops up, is that like a building window? If yes it should have 3 tabs on it with the third being the edit tab where mines and other building parts are found

Minotorious! I am so appreciative! I didn't even notice that! I cant thank you enough! I found the way to build it:
1) click on teh iron deposit
2) a window pops up - In that windo you see the 3 icons, click on the third icon that looks like a hammer
3) similar to the church or manor - you have to build the quarry AND the cran in order the build button to be an option

yes the crane acts like a special warehouse for minerals so you should make sure to have one and that its entrances are free for villagers to access
