click the book than the human face, you see a exlamation mark / sign, hover over it and you see what they need. ( or click the not so happy npc thats haveing issue to see his profile + his / her needs )
Dont forget to assign a place where they can build houses ( with the paint tool ).
You need more church. You should have capacity for about 120% of your total villagers (minus newcomers). Some people go to church more than once per week, so for instance, if you have 50 villagers, you want enough church capacity for about 60-70 people.
Add on to your current church or build another to increase capacity.
