Hunters hut

I have the hut placed in a forest, hunting zone around it, worker assigned, but no boars. What am I missing?

You are not missing anything :)

The boars are not visually there yet, the hunters simply go in the forest and hunt the imaginary boars returning with 1 boar per trip

do they show in the granary? My tavern has not produced any meals either, and it does have cheese.

They show in the hunter's hut and the granary transporters will move them from there to the granary

I usually put like 7+ huts if I want to have a decent stock. 1 hut will feed a small number of citizens.
