you can keep an eye on it while launching foundation to see what the temperatures do to rule out or confirm the issue.
Ideally the temps should stay below 70C/154F, most cpus will trigger a shut down at 100C/212F.
If overheating is the issue a proper cleaning might be all you need, but i do mean a PROPER cleaning. Not just some compressed air into the intake/exhaust. Take it to a professional if you are not sure how or not comfortable opening up your PC.
If your temps stay good I still suggest you have a professional diagnose the problem.

whatever the case it is extremely unlikely that the game is the direct cause of the shutdown/restart, so even if it doesn't seem to be heat it would be wise to let an expert take a closer look.
