GPU at 99%
My new rtx 2070 is at 99% when playing the game. I have already turned on V-sync. I changed my resolution from 2560x1440 to 1920x1080. What do I do now?

If your temps are good its all fine. You could use msi afterburner or evga precision x to limit your frame rate. Gpu are built to be run like that. Many many game max out my 2070. I play this at 1440 with 100+ fps.

Right click your desktop and go into nvidia settings, make foundation be forced to run at 60 fps (or 120 if you prefer).

Now your gpu shouldn't max out, it'll be a lot quieter and be less stressed.

Hmm, with weather getting colder, i just let mine run, figuring some heat for the legs is nice.

Will this trick though.
Same problem. I have RTX3060 and my laptop overheating like hell. I limited framerate to 60fps in Nvidia settings which did not help much. Only after switching all graphics settings to minimum it started behave at least a bit better. Devs should look at this at some moment. I don't want to lose my laptop to overheat because of this game.

Oh so you smart right? Tell me why Sims4 and Deeprock Galactic and many other AAA games with superior graphics using my GPU up to max, still not maxing it out to 99% and not overheating it, while this game with kind-of-lowpoly models maxing it? Eh? Probably all those devs doing something stupid, something retarted, which called "optimization". Ever heard of such thing, smart-4$$?

usualy if your gpu run at 99% usage it mean something is wrong 99% of the time.
no your gpu is not suposed to run at 100% on any games
this game is very poorly optimized

So, mr. Smart, I don't see an answer. You don't have one for such a simple question like that? Unlike you I'm being civilized and QUOTED you, so you would properly receive notification, so I believe you DID read my question...

My gpu is old and cheap, (I use 1920x1080 - 25Hz)
less than 65°C, less than 40%, almost silent.

Thats a small tower, notebooks might be different ofc.

The game is not optimized, but that is the problem with quite a few indie games; I guess AAA developers can dedicate a whole team to it but indie developers just can't.
Still, it would be nice if Foundation developers stopped adding new features for a while and solved the current game problems.

I am even totally ok if they won't prioritize it any time soon. After lowering graphics it started to behave more or less ok. But the sooner the better, if it won't affect some great features or urgent bugs.
