How long do wounded soldiers take to heal?
It's been months now, and some of my soldiers are still wounded from some of the first missions. My keep has training dummies, and I've seen them using them (a healing progress bar would be really useful, maybe as a fill behind the wounded text on the soldiers menu).

The garden masterpiece says it reduces healing time by two, but that's not very informative. Two from what? In what unit? Any clarification would be lovely, as I haven't found an answer to this anywhere.

Do you have enough dummies, compared to the number of soldiers?

Reduction of healing time by two - ok thats really not very clear (anyone understands that?)
But I observed, that they heal incredible quick. So this masterpiece is a must asap.

Ah, maybe it means it halves the time to heal!

I have enough dummies, I think (one per soldier at the beginning, and perhaps one between two now, and I've seen two using the same dummy at once). Strangely right after posting this, all my soldiers mysteriously healed and now they all heal very fast. That was after completing the garden, but I didn't think the healing effect had been applied because I hadn't met the forest area requirement. (I'm still struggling to meet that one!) At least it's working now :D

If I remember, I'll track my next soldier that gets wounded until the status disappears and update with how long it took, for anyone who wants to know. But it could be RNG, I guess.

Id also suggest to employ the best bailiff, the one that heals troops faster. by having that bailiff and the masterpiece your troops should heal in 3-6 game weeks, depending on you having all healing requirements. meaning enough dummies. bailiff masterpiece etc.

Ah, I forgot about that. I already had a bailiff set up with that ability before even building a keep. I've noticed it does seem to be only a few weeks now. I wonder if the first batch got stuck or something.

I've got the masterpiece garden, dummies and bailiff but it is taking EXTREMELY long for my soldiers to heal. It has been longer than the 3 to 6 game weeks you recently mentioned. Can you provide any advice of what I can do because I'm getting a penalty for them being wounded. Help!?

The healing time also depends on how well trained and armed your soldier are. Fully trained soldiers with spears heal extremely quickly (and are rarely wounded anyway); only partly trained militians with swords get wounded easily and heal a long time.

Thank you. I just can't get my soldiers to heal, fully or not. Could not having enough training targets affect this?(ie. 8 soldiers to 4 training targets)

1 : 2 is usually enough but 1 : 1 is better, though they rarely train all at once. Also, make them fully trained before you send them on other missions and NEVER send a wounded soldier.
