Note: miners on stone nodes have a chance to find gems where stonecutters don't ;)
Oh nice! I'm glad you mentioned this, because I would have never even considered sending miners to a stone quarry before.
Also not really seeing any indicator on the map itself of what was found. There should be something on the map to indicate what was found.
Do you not see the actual deposit on the map? Unless it is stone it should have a node coming out of the stone.
Iron = brownsih
Gold = yellow
Marble = white
Quartz = pink
Not seeing a quarry building option. Does it require citizen?
Never mind, you build it on the deposit once a deposit appears (I found an iron deposit.)

Stone deposits show up one you click on the "invisible area" because then the snapping points show up (the white dots in screenshots.)
Stone really needs some sort of visual display on the map.
Same for me, found one Gold and one Iron, the rest is Stone. I dont have access to marble, so im stuck now.
Edit: Found out that you need territory close by to prospect all.
