what building do i need to make glass?

You can't make glass you need to buy it from the trader. The glass production chain hasn't been added to the game yet.

IS this still a thing? because I have glass blowers but they just.. dont seem to want to make any glass.

Works fine for me. You need to add on to the builders for the windows.

Are you mining quartz? You need to have quartz for your glass blowers to make glass.

This is an old thread from before the minerals update, thus my above answer is no longer correct.

Now you need, as Rivervale said, to first find a Quartz mineral node through prospecting and then use that quartz in combination with coal I believe to make glass. That glass can then be used directly or made into stained glass in the stained glass workshop (Note stained glass is on demand production and will only produce if you have an active project requiring it)
