lazy bakers

so i built a bakery, put 2 people to work in it, have a windmill overflowing with flour and several wells around the town. bakery has not yet produced a single roll of bread... what am i doing wrong?

Multiple issues is possible, worker living too far, worker having to walk to far to fill his needs... best way to find out is select Baker and follow him. Also you can come to Discord for more detailed help.

So would a fix for the baker living too far away be removing all workers from their tasks then putting them back on the job? What im asking is do the buildings try to hire the closest worker, or is it all random?

Yes, when you add worker to workplace, it always go for closest one. So firing all workers and hiring back them works. Though takes some time (unassigning can be slow), production stops, so be carefull. Also i recommend addind workrs to food chain first, becouse its top priority.
