I have 11 sheep farms and hardly getting any wool. Whats the trick behind getting good production of wool?

I use 3 sheep farms for 2 weavers and up to 3 tailors then repeat this pattern for upscaling. This works for me so far.
How many sheep per farm?
i use 6 sheeps but i think 4 or 5 would also be enough as the sheep farmer only can process 4 or 5 sheeps until the wool of first sheep respawns

is that visible in the game?
I usually just spam sheep until it says "don't abuse" and assume it's enough after that. ;)

Not really visible. I just watched the sheep farmer for a while that's why i'm not sure about the exact amount as it depends on where you place market and churches and so on. But with 6 i feel it works best.
The Trick is
1) Ensure the Wool farmers House is nearby
2) Ensure the Wool Farmer has a Well to drink from nearby
3) Ensure the Wool Farmer has a Market to get food from nearby
4) Ensure the Wool Farmer has a Church nearby
5) Ensure the Wool Farmer has a Market to get Cloth's from nearby
6) Ensure the Wool farm has 4 sheep no more then that are needed....

^^^^^ The above goes for every job in the game bye the way!!!
some players have clearly a difficulty to understand that in Foundation every villager has own daily needs, which have to be met on a regular recurring basis

the well, the market, the houses & also the church are not just decorational, as in many other games, they are the absolute necessity, they are being used regularly, which means the villagers have to have a good nearby access to those buildings, if they don't have it, the production gets stuck because the villagers look first to fulfill their needs before they are willing to work at their designated workplace

it's not really hard to understand but the player has to realise that

if i read that there are countless sheep farms, countless sheeps, countless farms, countless mills, countless bakeries, countless gathering huts, for the supply of a fairly limited number of villagers, then i know the distance those villagers have to wander day in day out to fulfill their needs must be disproportionate
the villagers don't need much
but they need it in a nearby distance
if that's not achieved the whole producing system starts to crumble

if you spawn 20 sheep, you get a black sheep.....
So I thought the button to spawn sheep was just for a visual effect...I never knew you actually HAD to spawn sheep to get more wool. Seems like it should tell us that.
Most problems players have can be easily diagnosed if you follow a worker and see how they spend their week. You do get messages if a worker cannot gather any resources, which is what will happen if you don't spawn any sheep.
The worker needs to live nearby. I have one sheep farm- 10 minutes from work with food, water, etc nearby and they produce a lot.
The other farm- 98 minutes away and even with needs met they produce 30%? of the other farm.
Both farms have 4 or 5 sheep.
Hi, I've just got black sheep - All you need is to create a farm with a very large field (near 3 times bigger) where 50+ sheep can be spammed
