Since I've got quests where I need to supply fish, but can't fish myself and can't trade for them, this sucks. However, even if I could trade for them, the fish cost 100 gold per fish it seems and I need 20 of them - there is no way I'll be able to get that many in the timeframe allotted, so what gives...?
If the trader doesn't come in the same way as immigrants then maybe i do need a bridge however you might need to add that as a tip in game somewhere.
I started in a place quite far away from a river and i cant afford to purchase anymore land to make a bridge, so if what you say is true, my save is screwed.
i will give you my save game so you can see :)
As mentioned, here is my save file.

I hope the trading will be more deeper in the future. As it's the same few items in every save.
