Can't build wooden bridges

I wanted to play the river map, builded up, but i can't build a fricking bridge. I start from my side and stretch it, always red, i can start from unclaimed, always red. It is just a small river.

If this is a cracked thing, ok, mods can ban me for this. I want to buy this game, It looks like fun, but not if you can't even build a bridge.

What's red? Nothing should be red. Or do you mean the required resources? They can be red, but you can still start building.

i can't build, its red like its not possible, ressources are never the problem, you deliver them afterwards. But this bridge, i tried it many times, i cant connect to the other land, its just a river. not working, tried a smaller one, not working.

I cant do anything with it. It is always red when i want to expand it to the other shore, drag it to the other shore.

If its red its a money problem or you don't own the territory.

The bridge itself or something in the construction window?
If the bridge itself then it can only be because you're broke, even if I can't check it now. Everything red in the building window can be ignored because you can still start with the bridge.
You can place the bridge as you like, even in the middle of the sea it won't turn red.

but i can build other stuff on not owning territory. It just not get build. its not the money, the bridge doesn't need the money. It's just red, i can't place it

And what's red there? You place the bridge, click on one end to make it longer and click again when it is long enough. Then you can start the construction.

Have you tried placing it in the middle, then stretch one side out .. then stretch the other side out. I vaguely remember the very first attempt I had wouldn't let me build, but I just moved it around a bit and figured it out eventually.

A screenshot we could actually read would be more helpful to see what's wrong there :/

To move it around a bit click on one end while holding shift, then you can move it as a whole

First of all you are playing the old version of the game. Bottom right says 0.4.5.1130 that is the version number of the 30th of November. You need to update to Alpha 1.0.7.0207 the version as of the 7th of February

In that version you needed all the planks as upfront cost (as it says next to them, vorabkosten) and that is why you can't build it. This was changed in the latest version and now you can bring the planks over time
